Overview
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 176-191 of the C-terminus of human growth hormone (hGH). Unlike full-length hGH, AOD-9604 does not bind to the GH receptor and does not modulate IGF-1 signaling. It is used in research to study lipolytic signaling pathways in adipocyte cell models, specifically the molecular mechanisms of beta-3 adrenergic receptor-mediated lipolysis and lipogenesis inhibition.
