Hexarelin
A synthetic hexapeptide GHSR agonist with dual CD36 receptor activity.

Overview
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide with the sequence His-D-2-MeTrp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂. It is a potent agonist of the ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a) and also exhibits binding activity at the CD36 scavenger receptor. Hexarelin is used in research to study GHSR-1a pharmacology, CD36 receptor interactions, and the molecular mechanisms of secretagogue receptor signaling in cell-based and animal model systems.
